A major corporate marketing initiative required project management to identify, coordinate, and manage activities across multiple functional areas.
Approach
Successful project management requires organization, collaboration, and attention to detail. Orchid Strategy Group provided the following project management activities:
Worked with our client’s business teams to identify activities required for the execution
Facilitated weekly status meetings with the working team to ensure accountability, ownership, and integration with the overall plan
Identified and documented issues and worked with appropriate stakeholders for problem resolution
Wrote leadership status reports for knowledge and awareness
Solution
Orchid Strategy Group united the work efforts from various areas of responsibility (creative, user design, marketing, technology, legal, etc.) and developed a project plan to track the owners, tasks, deliverables, milestones, timing, and budget. We developed an issues log to track and resolve problems. Lastly, we created a go-to-market plan orchestrating field communications, public relations, advertising, and marketing efforts.
Results
The project was successfully launched on time, within design and quality specifications, and within budget.
